I made a u-turn the other day because I saw gas for $3.79. I never thought the day would come when I got excited to see $3.79.
How much have you paid per gallon to fill up with gas over the past week?

My last fill-up was $3.75/gal. at Kroger.
That was with my .10 discount for spending over $100 in groceries otherwise it would have been $3.85.
Brace yourselves . . .
Cheap gas in Portland, Oregon: $4.24!
Ouch!
Good think my commute is a one block walk!
I meant: "Good thing . . . "
A couple of stations around here are as low as $3.95. Most are $3.99.
no way that was real...only 2 (and that's generous) girls in the wnba can even dunk and you expect me to believe this girl high jumped a wall, please!
Kim, so now more and more people are motivated to spend over $100 at the store just so they can get the .10 discount. :)
James, keep that up in the northwest.
John, if you are like my dad (your bro), you will drive until you find that $3.95.
Jonathan, she didn't jump the wall. She climbed it. The video just brings back bad memories for you of me doing that to you while playing whiffle ball in the backyard.
well, let's see, when we left Michigan last week it was about $4.20, but in Uganda it only costs about 75 cents to ride on the back of a bike (boda-boda) into town :)
Out here in San Fran it is $4.75.
Sorry to bust your bubble, but the leap was done with ropes.
Are you suggesting that I am a penny pincher? If so, I have really rubbed off on your mother. She now notices every station's price, and will drive on fumes to save a penny.
Actually I used to care more when prices were cheaper and a few cents was a larger percentage of the price. Now a nickel doesn't seem to matter much.
Buying the cheapest gas is more about bragging rights than actually saving a penny. It makes for great conversation. Who would have dreamed that I would be into this as a conversation piece????
I paid $4.05 here in Connecticut yesterday. Of course, that was after a 30 cent discount on every gallon. The sad thing is that $4.35 was one of the lowest prices around here.
I am sure that Avery will be able to do that in a few years. Let her learn to crawl first, but soon she will do that.
When I left Reno on Wednesday, gas was $4.97/gal.
