The Yankees of the late 90s were great at manufacturing runs, and it contributed to their success. Unfortunately, fame and fortune comes more easily to mashers, so run manufacturing is becoming a lost art.

Except of course in the NL, where it is the only option for your crappier offensive players...

:)
Tomyankeestomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06353519359183337851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5630262561635378101.post-11058854122058570622008-08-04T22:01:00.000-07:002008-08-04T22:01:00.000-07:00Neither. But give me my Big Poppi anytime, DH or otherwise.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5630262561635378101.post-48647997543294106152008-08-04T07:19:00.001-07:002008-08-04T07:19:00.001-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00606199377889821435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5630262561635378101.post-36355855467516945372008-08-04T07:19:00.000-07:002008-08-04T07:19:00.000-07:00I share season tickets for Rangers games so I gues...I share season tickets for Rangers games so I guess I am a fan but I prefer to watch NL games. I'm not sure if it's the strategy aspect of it or just because I don't like other AL teams because they compete with the Rangers. I watched Matt Stairs who can't run, can't throw, can't do much of anything but hit on Saturday night and wished that the DH would be done away with.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00606199377889821435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5630262561635378101.post-57092135339949998142008-08-02T18:39:00.000-07:002008-08-02T18:39:00.000-07:00Okay Ray Barone.
